Liver Cancer Treatment
Treatments for liver cancer depend on the type of cancer and the stage. Early-stage primary liver cancer, and some metastatic tumors, may be treated with surgery, with the goal of removing the entire tumor. Other methods such as chemotherapy treatment and conventional radiation therapy may also be used. In some cases, the entire liver can be removed and replaced with a donor liver transplant.
