Are you Ready for some football?  Super Bowl that is….

Here is a fun Super Bowl appetizer any one of your favorite football fans will love.

“Oven-Baked” Pickles

3 Servings (12 pickles per serving)

36 hamburger dill pickle chips

3 large egg whites

2 tbsp. of flour

½ cup whole-wheat panko breadcrumbs

½ tsp. garlic powder

½ tsp. onion powder

Dash of cayenne pepper

Pepper to taste

Cooking spray

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425˚.  Line a large sheet pan with parchment or non-stick foil. Combine the breadcrumbs and seasonings. Blot pickles to dry. Dredge each pickles in flour, then dip the pickle in the egg white and coat with breadcrumb mixture. Place the coated pickles in a single layer on the sheet pan.  Coat pickles with cooking spray.

Bake for 8 minutes on each side
