Northwell’s Mather Hospital announced today it has been recognized as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for pulmonary care, critical care and coronary intervention procedures. These distinctions place Mather among the top five percent of hospitals in the nation for these procedures.
Denise Driscoll, Assistant Vice President of Behavioral Health at Northwell’s Mather Hospital, has received the distinguished 2025 Nurse of Excellence Award from the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council.
Mr. Colson was previously Vice President for Development at Farmingdale State College and Executive Director for the Farmingdale College Foundation. He joins Mather with more than 20 years of experience and a proven track record for building community and award-winning development programs in his prior positions at Farmingdale State College, Stony Brook University, Stony Brook School of Medicine, and Saint Joseph’s University.
