In 2022, the transformation and growth at Mather Hospital became evident across the campus. The new Cardiac Cath & Electrophysiology Lab is fully open and parking is being expanded to accommodate construction of the new Emergency Department.
The changes at Mather will also be unmistakable the moment you enter the hospital’s Main Lobby. Plans are underway for an ambitious renovation and expansion that will impress upon each visitor that this is an exceptional healing environment.
In addition to exquisite interior design upgrades, there are security and access enhancements, expanded spacious visitor seating including high-top workstations for laptop and tablet usage, a new gift shop, a digital information screen, and upgraded bathroom facilities.
A unique feature in our lobby will be a Caregivers Center, which will be a dedicated space and resource for respite, support and community, for the growing population of family caregivers who entrust Mather with the care of their loved ones.
