Under the direction and supervision of the RN, assist patients with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care and the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Answer telephones, assist with patient’s family needs.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma. Nursing Aide certification required. Previous psych experience preferred. BLS certification required. Able to handle stressful, unexpected emergencies, and crisis situations. Must have exceptional customer service and patient relation skills Must be friendly, helpful, & have an empathetic demeanor Physical capability of safely executing the duties and responsibilities required of the position (e.g., lifting, transferring).
