Mather Hospital’s Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency Program welcomed its first class on July 1, 2018.
Founded in 1929 as the first general hospital in the Town of Brookhaven, Mather Hospital has consistently fulfilled its original patient care mission of providing a wide spectrum of healthcare services of the highest quality to the residents of Suffolk County, and has received a top “A” Hospital Safety Score 15 times from The Leapfrog Group, a national, independent group that advocates for patient safety, quality and affordability in healthcare.
Located approximately 60 miles east of New York City, Port Jefferson is within driving distance of vineyards, beaches, restaurants, sporting venues, outlets and more. We are also within walking distance of the Long Island Railroad, for a convenient trip into Manhattan.
