Support group for men and women with drinking problems. Registration is not required. Meets:

Get one-on-one Medicare counseling and assistance. Make an appointment to meet individually with a Suffolk County RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) volunteer from HIICAP (Health Insurance Information, Counseling & Assistance Program). Get answers to your questions and information specific to your needs regarding Medicare health insurance and benefits, Medicare Savings Programs, Extra Help for prescription drugs and EPIC. A twelve-step program for women with problems related to food including, but not limited to, compulsive overeaters, those with binge eating disorder, bulimics and anorexics. Meets every Thursday from 7-8:30pm in Conference Rooms 4&5. For information text Terri at 631-241-2403.

A program to help patients with breast cancer cope with their diagnosis, treatment and recovery, pairing a breast cancer survivor with a recently diagnosed patient. American Cancer Society (ACS) volunteers are specially trained to help the patient express feelings and verbalize fears and concerns. Strength For Life provides free exercise classes for cancer patients utilizing resistance bands, stability balls and floor work.
