Weekly Hours: Full Time (37.5 hrs/wk)
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM. *Must be available to work evenings and nights as needed. **Rotating Weekends and Holidays.
Duties:
Installs, repairs, and maintains all existing electrical systems excluding duties necessitating. Constructs, repairs, replaces, and maintains all woodwork including structural woodwork and masonry to interior and exterior of building, using both hand and power tools, excluding duties necessitating a Carpenter. Repairs furniture, equipment, machinery, and door checks. Installs, maintains, repairs, and replaces existing water, waste, vent, drainage, and vacuum systems, excluding duties necessitating a Plumber. Installs, maintains, and repairs existing heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment, excluding duties necessitating an HVAC Mechanic. Performs painter duties, including assembling scaffolding, and installation of wallboards and tiles. Maintains and cares for Hospital grounds. Maintains general cleanliness of all exterior areas. Installs, operates, and repairs heavy and light equipment (both medical and non-medical). Recommends and/or prepares purchase requests. Assists trade mechanics in the performance of their duties and assists in snow removal. Serves as a member of the Fire Response Team and responds to emergencies. Performs related duties, as required. Will assist in maintaining all aspects of repair in the following areas: Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Boilers. Additional responsibilities include snow removal, shift coverage, performance improvement, answering phones etc.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three (2-4) years relevant experience preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to use tools related to the Carpentry, electrical, plumbing masonry, and mechanical trades.
