Perfect Plates Restaurant Program

Today’s portion sizes are bigger than ever.  When you dine out, you may be eating more calories than you know.

Mather Hospital is making it easier for you to eat well while eating out.  Our Perfect Plates Restaurant Program partners with restaurants throughout Suffolk County to help increase the availability of smaller portion options on their menus.

Our partner restaurants love their customers so they enjoy serving generous portions.  But they also believe their customers should have options.

When you dine at one of our partner restaurants you don’t have to eat an enormous portion. Our restaurants offer you a choice: many have added reduced portion size items to their menus.  The best news is that smaller portions cost less so it’s easy on your waistline AND your wallet.  We also offer coupons online so you can save even more when you try a smaller portion at a participating restaurant.

Portion control can help prevent weight gain and reduce the risks of developing heart disease, obesity and diabetes. When it comes to your health, how much you eat can be just as important as what you eat.

Mather Hospital’s Perfect Plates Restaurant Program is funded by the Healthy Heart Program - New York State Department of Health.
