PORT JEFFERSON, NY ― Mather Hospital caregivers provide powerful testimony of the challenges of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in Together We Can, a short documentary film that will premiere on December 17 at 7 p.m.

Together We Can, presented by the JTM Foundation in support of Mather Hospital, chronicles how 2020 events tried the resiliency and strength of hospital staff and how they came together – along with the community that supported Mather throughout the pandemic – in remarkable ways.

In a year in which the pandemic forced Mather Hospital to cancel its largest fundraising events, the film will help raise money to advance the hospital’s mission at this crucial time.

Generous support for the film was provided by Cerner Corporation; Frey Family Foundation, Inc.; Jefferson’s Ferry Life Plan Community; Long Island Anesthesia Physicians, LLP; Mather Hospital Medical Staff; New York Cancer & Blood Specialists; Riverhead Toyota, Toyota Motor Sales USA and Leo Sternlicht.
