PORT JEFFERSON, NY ― Paul Vertullo, chief operating officer and treasurer for Seviroli Foods, Inc. / Vertullo Imports LLC of Garden City, has been appointed to the JTM Foundation Board of Directors.

Vertullo said he had been discussing with a friend, Donald Lippencott, who is vice chairman of the JTM Foundation Board, that he would like an opportunity to give back to the community. Lippencott suggested that Vertullo join him on the JTM Foundation Board.

“I’ve been very fortunate in my life and career. I was talking to Don about some ideas I had in terms of trying to work more in the community and giving a little back, and that’s how we got to where we are,” said Vertullo. “I want to add value and service to that Board.”

The JTM Foundation works to foster relationships with those individuals and organizations who have a like-minded vision and the desire to support exceptional health care at Mather Hospital for the benefit of our community. Every donation to the JTM Foundation solely benefits Mather Hospital, its programs, services and growth initiatives.

Vertullo has a long career as a general manager with experience in sales, marketing, distribution, and finance. Prior to joining Seviroli foods he was chief operating officer for American Roland Food Corp. Bruno Schiedt Inc., of New York.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and economics from Fordham University. He resides in Miller Place and is the father of six and grandfather of 10.
