PORT JEFFERSON, NY – Mubdiul Ali, MD, has been named director of Mather Hospital’s Sleep Disorders Center.

Dr. Ali most recently completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT. Prior to that he completed a fellowship in pulmonary and primary care medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, Richmond, VA and an internal medicine residency at Rutgers University, New Jersey Medical School and three New Jersey hospitals.

He worked as a hospitalist at Winchester Hospital, Lahey Health, Winchester, and at Kindred Hospital, Boston, MA. He received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, Richmond, VA.

A resident of New Hyde Park, Dr. Ali is certified in pulmonary and internal medicine. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society.
