PORT JEFFERSON, NY ― Lisa Khavkin has been named vice president for human resources for Mather Hospital, effective March 1, 2021.
Ms. Khavkin was previously the vice president for human resources at Huntington Hospital. She joined Huntington in 2013 as the director of talent and organizational performance. In her seven years at Huntington, she was a key member of the team that facilitated the hospital’s integration into Northwell Health and helped the hospital reach the 96th percentile rank nationally for employee engagement. She has also supported Huntington’s strategic priorities by leading organizational efforts around succession planning, leadership development, talent assessment, and organizational design.

Prior to joining Huntington Hospital/Northwell, Ms. Khavkin held a variety of human resources positions in several Fortune 500 companies serving the workforce solutions, electronics and banking sectors.
A graduate of the State University at Buffalo, she resides in Babylon with her husband and two teenage children.
