These include the Get With The Guidelines – Coronary Artery Disease STEMI Receiving Center Gold and Get With The Guidelines – Coronary Artery Disease NSTEMI Gold awards, both with the added distinction of the Target: Type 2 Diabetes™ Honor Roll. This recognition underscores Mather’s dedication to saving lives, supporting recovery, and reducing hospital readmissions.
Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the United States, according to the American Heart Association’s 2026 Heart Disease and Stroke Statistics Report. Studies show patients can experience better outcomes when care teams consistently follow evidence-based treatment guidelines.
Recognition as a STEMI Receiving Center and NSTEMI awarded hospital highlights that Mather provides around-the-clock support for patients experiencing these cardiac conditions.
