Mather Hospital Auxiliary presents annual donation to hospital

PORT JEFFERSON, NY – The Mather Hospital Auxiliary presented the hospital with a check for $190,000 towards its pledge to support Mather’s capital building projects.

The Auxiliary presents the hospital with a check each year that reflects its proceeds from the group’s Thrift Shop, Gift Shop, Calendar Raffles, plant and slower sales, and other fundraisers.

Mather’s capital building projects include a new, larger Emergency Department, enhanced surgery center, renovation of the main lobby, an Outpatient Behavioral and Mental Health facility, as well as the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs.
