Keri Dunne has been named Director of Volunteer Services at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital.

In her new role, Dunne oversees the adult and junior volunteers who work throughout the Hospital and supports the operations of the Gift Shop and the Auxiliary’s Thrift Shop.

Dunne previously was Volunteer Coordinator at the Gurwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Commack and, earlier, Director of the Therapeutic Recreation Department at the Apex (formerly Birchwood) Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Huntington Station.

She received her BS in Therapeutic Recreation with a certificate in gerontology from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue. She is a member of the New York State Association of Volunteer Service Administrators.

Dunne is married with two children and lives in Kings Park.
