Pre- and post-operative care, rehabilitation, insurance and other related topics will be covered by Mather Hospital representatives. A question and answer period will follow.
Mather now offers high-precision, robotic-assisted partial and full knee replacements using the NavioTM Surgical System. Partial knee replacement is an alternative to total knee replacement for patients with early to mid-stage osteoarthritis that is generally limited to one portion of the knee. The partial knee procedure removes the damaged portion of the knee and replaces it with an implant, sparing ligaments that are vital for knee stability and preserving healthy bone and cartilage.
Mather Hospital’s operating suites are specially equipped for orthopedic surgery and feature computer-navigated systems that assist in minimally invasive knee replacements. Mather also has a comprehensive pre- and post-operative program that provides patients with everything they will need to achieve a successful outcome.
