PORT JEFFERSON, NY – Daniel Perrault, MD, has been named director of the Department of Pathology at Mather Hospital.

Dr. Perrault was previously a staff pathologist and residency teaching staff member in the Department of Pathology and Area Laboratory Services at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, TX. Prior to that he was Chief of Anatomic Pathology and Chief of Clinical Pathology at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, TX.

He received his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He completed his residency in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA.

Dr. Perrault completed the Army Medical Department Captain Career Course and the Army Medical Department Basic Officer Leader Course, both at Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Dr. Perrault is a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology, combined anatomic pathology and clinical pathology certification, and a fellow of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society for Clinical Pathology.

He resides in Stony Brook.
