Mather Hospital Honors Employees for Dedicated Service at Annual Awards Dinner

Eileen Bastien of Miller Place, a registered nurse at Mather Hospital, was recognized for 40 years of service at Mather’s annual Employee Service Awards Dinner.
The event, held Tuesday, May17 at Majestic Gardens in Rocky Point, recognized the extraordinary dedication and commitment of 281 Mather employees. Among them were two other employees marking 40 years at Mather – Ruth Jones of Central Islip, who works in Central Supply, and Angela Mondello of Shirley, a registered nurse – eight celebrating 35 years and seven who have reached 30 years of service.
“The hard work and commitment of our employees and medical staff has allowed Mather to provide the best possible healthcare to the community for more than 80 years,??? said Mather President Kenneth Roberts. “I congratulate each of them and offer my thanks for their dedication. We are grateful to have them as part of the Mather Hospital Family.???
