Rehabilitation Services encompasses inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy. Our therapists are not only well trained in all aspects of rehabilitation but also well versed in the areas of medicine, illness and disease. Our philosophy is to provide quality one-on-one care and superior patient service.
Over the past three years patient satisfaction at our outpatient program has been at 98 percent or greater. Our new facility, opened in 2014, is equipped with state-of-the-art exercise and rehabilitation equipment. We accept most insurance plans.
Equipment includes treadmills, elliptical machines, recumbent bicycles and upper body equipment. A Microsoft Xbox One Kinect system can be used for stretching, strengthening, balance and coordination activities with visual feedback to make traditional therapy activities more engaging and fun.
Specialty programs include a post-rehabilitation program that allows patients to continue their exercise program in a supervised environment once their rehabilitation is complete and a bariatric surgery fitness program.
Our licensed physical therapists are trained in dealing with conditions such as neck and back pain, balance and falls rehabilitation, neurological disorders, orthopedic problems, and women’s health issues. Each patient receives an individualized treatment plan to maximize ability and foster a more active, independent lifestyle.
Occupational therapists specialize in helping individuals optimize performance of activities of daily living including self-care and homemaking tasks. Individuals with a wide range of diagnoses including stroke, arthritis, and upper extremity injury may benefit from Occupational therapy; as well as patients that have cognitive limitations and difficulty with tasks such as managing finances, taking medication, or even shopping. A simulated kitchen helps patients adjust to everyday tasks.
Outpatient Speech Therapy
Licensed speech-language pathologists provide evaluations and therapy for a wide range of speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders. They are specially trained in VitalStim, which is neuromuscular electrical stimulation therapy for swallowing disorders. Services can be provided to preschoolers, school-aged children and adults.
